Joel spent half of his life growing up in Orange County. His passion for working on computers started with 2 decade old computers, the Commodore 64. His dad would bring home old computers, break them, Joel would watch his dad’s friend fix them. By age 14 Joel was build and fixing computers by himself. Eventually, Joel began to work on databases when the database technician at his office seemed to always be too busy to fix the problems. Once Joel got a taste of creating applications he moved to San Diego to try and get a B.S. in Computer Science. He shortly was hired, for the first time, as a full time Software Programmer. He has advanced his abilities with some web languages like HTML, Javascript, ActionScript, and PHP. He has since started to learn High Level System Languages like Ruby, Java, and C++.
