World Bucchigiri Coaster baby—-I love DoDonPa (for those of you who don’t know, it is the fastest ACCELERATING—so note here, not the FASTEST, just the fastest ACCELERATING—-roller coaster in the world, 0-107 MPH in just under 2 seconds—it is at the base of Mt Fuji at Fuji-Q Highland in FujiYoshida, Japan). Once you wait in line, listening to the constant chant over the loudspeaker (which progressively picks up speed as you progress through the line), and feel the trepidation of waiting to be thrown at 100+ MPH along a track just over 1/2 a mile long in under 50 seconds, that chant will forever drill itself into your head—it has been almost 2 years since Trev and I dared to do this ride–and still sometimes at night I find myself falling asleep going
